The standard rules of good concreting practice concerning production and placing shall be followed.  Laboratory trials shall be carried out before hand, especially when suing a new mix design or producing new concrete components.  Fresh concrete shall be cured according to recognised techniques and applied as early as possible.

SikaRapid®-2 is added to the guaging water or added simultaneously with the guaging water into the concrete mixer.

It is also possible to add SikaRapid®-2 to the basic concrete carried in a transit mixer at the place of discharge.  In this case, an additional mixing time of 1 minute per m³ of concrete must be observed.  The concrete shall be checked for uniform consistency prior to discharge from a transit mixer.

The normally recommended dosage rate of SikaRapid®-2 is approximately:
