Do I need to use Sika® Reemat Premium for reinforcement when using SIkalastic®-560?

Sika® Reemat Premium is a glass fibre mat reinforcement for the Sikalastic® Liquid Applied Membrane system. It is recommended to use when doing detailing work around pipes, penetrations and upstands, along with increased strength and performance for longer service life.

Can I apply Sikalastic®-560 to an existing torch-on membrane which is lifting and cracking?

No, a torch-on membrane that is lifting and cracking suggests that it is past its service life and would have to be removed prior to the application of Sikalastic®-560.

What size surface area will 5l of Sika® RainTite cover?

Sika® RainTite Kit (5l container with an attached 200mm x 10m roll of membrane) will cover approximately 2.3m2   of the surface. 

What product can be used to waterproof a koi pond that is not toxic to fish?

Sika® Cemflex® is mixed with cement and water and cement is highly alkaline. we recommend the product to cure for 5 - 7 days, wash mop 3 - 4 times with clean water. Fill the pond and ensure that the water is properly conditioned. Check PH levels before introducing the fish. 

Recommended curing time for Sika BlackSeal® Lastic is 4 weeks before adding any fish.

My shower is leaking damp through the wall. What is the best way to waterproof the shower?

Sika® Cemflex®

It is extremely difficult to waterproof a tiled surface without changing the look of the tile and while you may not want to remove the tiles, it is strongly recommended that the tiles are removed before waterproofing the shower.

Your acrylics don't come in a suitable colour for my home, can I overcoat with the desired colour paint?

The acrylics can be overcoated with a good flexible acrylic coating.
