EVERBUILD® XL FIRE CEMENT

Ready-mixed fire cement that cures when exposed to heat

EVERBUILD® XL FIRE CEMENT is a ready-mixed blend of thermosetting resins and inorganic fillers that cures when exposed to heat, resulting in a mortar which is resistant to temperatures up to 1250˚C. Can be used for domestic and commercial applications on fire bricks, fire grates, flue pipes, flue bricks, boilers and other applications subject to extreme heat. Offers excellent adhesion to fire bricks, blockwork, stone and clayware. Asbestos free.

3 metres per kg (assume 15mm bead) depending on joint dimensions.
Application steps

MIXING

Use straight from tub. Soften with a small amount of water if required.

APPLICATION

Work well into the joints. After applying, gradually increase heat over a 4 hour period. Make good any cracks which may form with fresh cement to form a smoke-tight seal.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean tools in warm water and soap after use.
