SikaRapid®-575 ZA ready to use, liquid admixture is designed to accelerate setting time and strength development.

  • Increase ealy and ultimate strengths, compressive and flexural.
  • Relative durability to damage from freezing and thawing – well above industry standards.
  • Reduced water content required for a given workability.
  • Accelerated setting time characteristics.

Product Information

Shelf Life

12 months from date of manufacture. 

This product can last a longer period of time, if stored correctly.

Storage Conditions

SikaRapid®-575 ZA must be stored where temperatures do not drop below +5°C. If product has frozen thaw and agitate until completely reconstituted. Store under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extremes of temperatures.

Compatibility

SikaRapid®-575 ZA admixture may be used in combination with any Sika admixture. When used in conjunction with other admixtures, each admixture must be dispensed separately into the mix.

Recommended Dosage

This admixture is used at the rate of 1 - 4 litres / 100kg of cement for most concrete mixes using average concrete ingredients.

Because of variations in job conditions and concrete materials, dosage rates other than the recommended amount may be required. In such cases, contact your local Sika Technical department.


As the dosage rate of SikaRapid®-575 ZA admixture increases up to 4 liters / 100kg of cement, acceleration of setting time usually continues to increase. The larger dosage also increases early and ultimate strengths.
