Sika® Separol®-302

(former MasterFinish® 302)

High performance chemical and physical mould release agent

Sika® Separol®-302 is a multi-purpose chemical release agent for all types of shutters. It is mineral oil based and will produce satisfactory results on concrete surfaces under all construction and manufacturing conditions. Application by spray is recommended.

Usage

Sika® Separol®-302 may be used for all general applications and is especially reliable for achieving high quality off-shutter finishes.
The use of specific mould releasing aids should always be determined by site trials. Oils should not be used on rubber or plastic moulds. Waxes are especially suited for non-absorbing shutters as a base preparation and chemical sensitive moulding materials such as plastic and rubber.

Shelf Life

12 months from date of manufacture when stored in undamaged, unopened packaging.

Storage Conditions

Store under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extremes of temperatures. Failure to comply with the recommended storage conditions may result in premature deterioration of the product or packaging.

Technical Information

Specific Advice

Apply before the first casting and thereafter reapply immediately after stripping and cleaning the mould. Lightweight horticultural sprayers are ideal as Sika® Separol®-302 is finely atomized to give a uniform coating. Excessive application should be avoided. Alternatively, application may be made by a fine haired brush, only a very thin coating should be made, and any excess removed.
