POLYPROPYLENE MICROFIBRES FOR CONCRETE AND MORTARS

SikaFiber® 618 PPM ZA are 6 mm long monofilament polypropylene fibres for use in concrete and mortars.

Usage

For most types of non-structural concrete and cementitious mortars which need to reduce the incidence of shrinkage cracking:

▪ Precast concrete elements
▪ Sprayed applications
▪ Extruded concrete
▪ Interior and exterior applications

Storage Conditions

The product must be stored in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between + 5 °C and +35 °C. Always refer to packaging.

Application

Application Information

Dispensing

  • Add the fibres with the dry aggregates taking care to evenly distribute the fibres throughout the mix.
  • The fibres can be added when all the mix components have been added, although the mixing time will need to be increased to ensure a uniform fibres distribution (as a guide add 1 extra minute for every 1m3).
  • Do not add the fibres directly into the mixing water.

~600 g per m3 concrete/mortar
